Congratulations on your recovery. I fell and broke my shoulder last year and it never healed properly (no replacement) It still doesn't move well and hurts to try to play the viola again. I don't have long arms or big hands so what was a little struggle before has become untenable. I don't play violin and I can't afford another viola. Pain in both in the shoulder and in the front of the biceps. they say the replacement will not give me any function - just pain relief. Unfortunately I do not live anywhere near Banff. I live in the Bay area of California (northern - sf/San Jose area) I wonder if your phsio=guy would know of anyone or an association in this area that has worked with violists, etc?
The HMO I went to coupled with federal workers comp has done more to cut me off from help than assist in getting it, so I am on my own with whatever therapy I pursue now. I am trying to play again now with a little stage group just as a way to get back into playing, but the arm hurts so much.
I refuse to give up playing. When I saw your website I thought perhaps it was a sign, that you could have some words of advice as to what I should try next. Thanks for any ideas

(I see you have pointed to Rivinus's Pellegrina. If only I had 13K Although I have heard it called milk chocolate but not dark. I like the dark chocolate sound.)
